Admissions Counselor Alabama
The Admissions Counselor is a member of the professional recruiting team that energetically and enthusiastically pursues and implements the recruitment and enrollment goals of the university. This position represents and interprets UAH accurately and persuasively to prospective students, parents, school officials, school counselors, teachers, and alumni as well as UAH faculty, staff, and students.
Admissions Counselor Alabama
The Admissions Counselor/Transfer Enrollment Advisor reports to the Assistant Director of Transfer Recruitment and supports transfer recruitment initiatives. This position serves as a first point of advising for incoming transfer students seeking information on course articulation. They will collaborate with the Office of the Registrar and academic advisors across the colleges to assist in credit evaluation. In collaboration with the Assistant Director of Transfer Recruitment and Transfer Admissions Counselor, this position will support the university’s transfer enrollment goals. This position is based on campus in Huntsville.
Career Coordinator II Alabama
Career Coordinator II assists in the logistical and operational aspects of the career development program to include campus-based outreach activities and career coaching with students and alumni. The coordinator also assists in the identification of both experiential learning opportunities and permanent degreed positions for students and alumni.
Computer Scientist II, Step 4 Alabama
The Computer Scientist II will provide geospatial and information technology assistance and specialization for the Inter-Agency Implementation and Advanced Concepts Team (IMPACT) in the Earth Systems Science Center.
Computer Scientist I, Step 1 Alabama
The Computer Scientist I will provide software and computer science support to the Army Sustainment Readiness Directorate (SRD). The incumbent will develop and test software algorithms and programming code to support military engineering operations. Mentor undergraduate students in computer science support.
Research Engineer I, Step 1 Alabama
The Research Engineer I will support Airworthiness Qualification efforts for aircraft sub-systems and ground support equipment that are common across multiple Army platforms. The incumbent will support Platform Divisions with component level qualification and technical data to support integration, airworthiness release development. Counselor Alabama
The Counselor provides mental health counseling with an emphasis on cultural sensitivity. They will need to be energetic to work with individuals and groups to promote optimum mental and emotional health through outreach events and campus-planned events. The incumbent will provide services to a very diverse population to counsel, support, and consult in regards to psychological, social, and emotional well-being, along with enhancing the student’s personal growth, development, and adjustment to University life. The Counselor will be expected to help plan and conduct suicide prevention workshops, substance abuse workshops, and other identified group needs on campus. They will collaborate with staff from Student Health Services, the university, and community service agencies in developing, implementing, and evaluating educational and outreach activities, student needs, and campus concerns. They will need exceptional time management and are expected to participate in professional development activities and training. They will provide crisis intervention and assessments when necessary, including night and weekend on-call duties as required by all other licensed professional staff in the Counseling Center.
Staff Assistant Alabama
The Staff Assistant primarily provides administrative support to the Counselors in the Counseling Center. This includes providing scheduling, maintaining computer and physical documents/files, and communication required for the effective and timely integration of the office in conjunction with other departments across campus, offering a high level of customer service to students and clients, and maintaining a productive and quality work environment. They will also be required to maintain billing process and assist with budgeting for the department.
Asst Coach, Track & Field Alabama
The Assistant Coach, Track & Field is responsible for assisting the Head Coach with the management, administration, teaching, and instruction of all activities related to the UAH Track & Field program and exercises including the direct supervision of teaching, instruction, recruiting, training, and coaching student-athletes participating in the sport.
Annual Giving Officer Alabama
The Annual Giving Officer (AGO) is responsible for designing and implementing all annual giving components of the University's development program. The AGO implements strategies for identifying, cultivating, and successfully soliciting individuals, corporations, and foundations for annual gifts to support the University. This position is responsible for managing University-wide, college-specific, and unit-directed fundraising initiatives, leading the development of mailed and emailed marketing materials as well as any electronic fundraising platforms, educating students on the importance of being engaged and supportive alumni, and soliciting a medium-sized portfolio of leadership annual giving prospects as well as a small portfolio of major gift prospects. The AGO should be an excellent communicator and writer, and an experienced fundraising or marketing professional.
Custodian Alabama
The Custodian is a key member of the UAH Facilities & Operations department, which is responsible for the planning, design, construction, renovation, maintenance, and repair of the University. As a Custodian, the employee’s primary purpose is maintaining the cleanliness of the University's buildings. The employee’s duties will be performed full-time during the second shift (Monday-Friday, 2:00PM-10:45PM).
Research Associate IV, Step 2 Alabama
The Research Associate IV will provide mechanical engineering knowledge and support to the UAH ePDM team. The incumbent will provide Data Analysis and Test Integration, including catalog and analysis of legacy data. Also, provide training and mentorship to entry level engineers supporting the ePDM effort.
Principal Research Scientist IV, Step 2 Alabama
The Principal Research Scientist IV will provide expertise and oversight to the UAH Windchill ePDM team. The incumbent will also provide in-depth knowledge of existing network infrastructure as related to the ePDM activities at AvMC. Provide mentorship, guidance and management to the 40+ members of the UAH ePDM team.

Operations Manager, Building Services Alabama
The Operations Manager for Building Services is a key member of UAH Facilities & Operations department, which is responsible for the planning, design, construction, renovation, maintenance, and repair for the University. The employee assists the Director of Building Services (Director) with the following: • directing all daily activities related to the custodial functions of the university, including basic custodial operations, training, purchase of supplies and equipment, solid waste removal, management of human resources, budgets, procurement of supplies, window cleaning, and pest control services, etc. • strategizing, analyzing, developing, resourcing, managing, improving, measuring, and reporting all functions related to custodial services including staff and contractors; • maintaining buildings and surrounding areas in a clean, orderly, safe and secure condition to enhance the image and learning environment for the campus community; • employee must work afternoon/evening shift and some weekends to oversee contracted services and special projects.

This Maintenance Worker is a key member of UAH Facilities & Operations department, which is responsible for the planning, design, construction, renovation, maintenance, and repair for the university. The employee performs all general maintenance type functions to help ensure that all University facilities are properly maintained to provide an environment most conducive to study and work.

Director, AMSTI UAH Alabama
