Custodian Alabama
The Custodian is a key member of the UAH Facilities & Operations department, which is responsible for the planning, design, construction, renovation, maintenance, and repair of each of the University’s 90+ buildings and 500 acres. As a Custodian, the employee’s primary purpose is maintaining the cleanliness of the University's buildings. The employee’s duties will be performed full-time during the first shift (Monday-Friday, 5:00 AM-1:45 PM).
Clinical Placement & Outreach Coordinator Alabama
The Clinical Placement and Outreach Coordinator (CPOC) is responsible for the administration management of student clinical placements for assigned clinical programs that may include the BSN, RN-BSN, MSN, or DNP programs. In this role, the CPOC is responsible for management of clinical databases of approved clinical sites, preceptors, and contracts, and for determining and ensuring clinical placement needs of the UAH College of Nursing programs. The CPOC is responsible for identifying potential new clinical sites to meet the demands of the academic programs and initiating the clinical contract process for new clinical sites. The CPOC is also responsible for communicating information regarding faculty/student clinical placements to clinical sites, faculty and students, and making arrangements for faculty/student orientations, access to electronic medical records, and other arrangements as needed. The CPOC is under the direction of the associate deans and collaborates with program coordinators.

Research Scientist II Alabama
The SERVIR Science Coordination Office (SCO) is seeking a Research Scientist to serve as the Global Air Quality & Health Thematic Lead (TL). The portfolio of Air Quality & Health is burgeoning with increasing attention to consultation & needs assessments, numbers of science applications being developed, and trainings conducted, to meet the needs of SERVIR regions. The role of the Thematic Lead will be to develop and lead the applied research portfolio of SERVIR’s Air Quality & Health projects, with a greater emphasis in air quality. A successful candidate will have fundamental expertise in the fields of satellite remote sensing and modeling applications in air quality and health-related to climate, water, and environment. Experience in health is a plus. The candidate will also excel in communicating science in both academic and non-academic settings and have demonstrated experience in collaborative leadership. SERVIR is a joint development initiative of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and works in partnership with leading regional organizations worldwide to help developing countries use the information provided by Earth-observing satellites and geospatial technologies for managing climate risks and land use. Research Scientist II - SERVIR Health Alabama
SERVIR is a joint development initiative of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and works in partnership with leading regional organizations worldwide to help developing countries use the information provided by Earth-observing satellites and geospatial technologies for managing climate risks and land use. SERVIR’s goal is to empower decision-makers with tools, products, and services to act locally on climate-sensitive issues such as disasters, agriculture, water, ecosystems, air quality, and health. The SERVIR Science Coordination Office (SCO) is seeking a Research Scientist in Health to serve a key role within the Air Quality and Health Service Area. The portfolio of Air Quality and Health is rapidly growing with increasing numbers of science applications being developed, and trainings conducted, to meet the needs of SERVIR regions. The role of the Research Scientist will be to co-develop Earth-observations driven services, provide training, and expand the applied research portfolio of SERVIR’s Air Quality and Health projects. A successful candidate will have fundamental expertise in the fields of satellite remote sensing and modeling applications in health, excel in communicating the science in both academic and non-academic settings, and demonstrate experience in collaborative leadership. Domestic and international travel may be required for this position. Events Coordinator Alabama
The Events Coordinator plays a crucial role in planning and managing events, utilizing thoughtful oversight to ensure success from start to finish. The successful candidate will logistically plan, creatively develop and collaboratively work with university colleagues and external stakeholders to implement presidential, development and other events while acting as the event liaison to campus partners. Duties include, but are not limited to, planning, orchestrating and marketing high level events and meetings that further the mission of the university, while working within a given budget. The Events Coordinator will report to the Special Events Manager, under the supervision of the Director of Alumni Relations and Special Events and work closely with the Alumni Relations Coordinator. The Events Coordinator will also work in tandem with the Office of Marketing and Communications to develop digital and printed communications and other collateral that will amplify the goals/intended outcomes of each assigned event. The incumbent must be highly organized and detail oriented to manage event timelines and marketing coordination with the design team. We are seeking a motivated team player who is committed to enhancing a collaborative environment while ensuring outstanding client relations and customer service. Other duties may be assigned to benefit, promote, and advance the Office of Alumni Relations and Special Events and the University.

Under the general direction of the Assistant Director of Facilities Maintenance, the employee provides oversight for the preventive maintenance, repair, and minor renovations of all electrical, lighting automation, and life safety systems in Education & General (E&G) properties. He/she coordinates the activities of a multi-craft technical workforce, organizes workflow, arranges logistical support for facility repair projects, and inspects work for quality. He/she shall have some budgetary responsibility and record-keeping duties.
