Purpose of the Position:

The Research Scientist will provide cybersecurity and systems administration expertise and management for the Army and various project management offices.

Duties/Responsibilities
• Provide cybersecurity and systems administration expertise and management for the Army and various project management offices.
• Design and configure various components of a military local area network, to include file servers, repository servers, DNS, and Active Directory.
• Respond to information assurance security incidents, determine cause and implement rapid remediation.
Minimum Requirements:

• Master's degree with 108 - 114 months (9 - 9.5 years) of full-time work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and years of experience.
• 10+ years supporting military local area network infrastructure.
• Knowledge of vulnerability assessments, RMF requirements and Linux security.
Desired Qualifications:

• Master's degree with 120+ months (10+ years) of full-time work experience.
• 14+ years supporting military local area network infrastructure.
• Support of COMSEC equipment.
Published Salary (if available):

$117,771 -$125,000.00
