UFC Attendant Alabama
The UFC Attendant will provide support to all areas of the University Fitness Center as needed, including the Front Desk, Weight Room, and Aquatics. The UFC attendant will also ensure the safety of all participants utilizing the fitness center.
Research Assistant I, Step 4 Alabama
The Research Assistant I, Step 4 will support the development of Model-Based Systems Engineering models using the Dassault suite of tools and SysML.

Custodian Alabama
The Custodian is a key member of the UAH Facilities & Operations department, which is responsible for the planning, design, construction, renovation, maintenance, and repair of each of the University’s 90+ buildings and 500 acres. As a Custodian, the employee’s primary purpose is maintaining the cleanliness of the University's buildings. The employee’s duties will be performed part-time during the second shift (Monday-Friday, 6:45PM-10:45 PM).

Research Associate V Alabama
The Research Associate will provide support to NASA SPoRT science and application activities related to the air quality thematic area, with special attention on using satellite data from the TEMPO (Tropospheric Emissions: Monitoring of Pollution) mission, launched in April 2023. The position will be located at the National Space Science & Technology Center in Huntsville, Alabama, and will support the scientific development and application of satellite remote sensing products. SPoRT is a NASA project to transition unique observations and research capabilities to the operational weather community to improve short-term forecasts on a regional scale. Based at the NASA Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama, SPoRT is collaborating with the University of Alabama in Huntsville to provide direct science support along with science and technical coordination in the areas of weather, climate, air quality, natural disasters, satellite remote sensing, and data science and applications.
Research Associate I, Step 2 Alabama
The Research Associate will support the IMPACT Project Office at NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC). NASA's IMPACT Project Office monitors trends and progressions across the informatics, data science, and information technology communities in order to inform strategy and develop effective solutions for Earth science data management and dissemination. Additionally, the IMPACT Project Office provides a broad user perspective as to how NASA Earth science data and information are represented and communicated. The IMPACT project fosters cross-community collaborations to improve all phases of the Earth science data life cycle, including processes, policies, engineering, and information communication.
Computer Scientist IV, Step 4 Alabama
The Computer Scientist IV needs a strong deep learning background to build Foundation models, including multimodal systems, for the Inter-Agency Implementation and Advanced Concepts Team (IMPACT) in the Earth Systems Science Center.
Assistant Bursar Alabama
The Assistant Bursar is responsible for the efficient and effective organization and operation of functions of the Bursar's Office. This includes but not limited to billing, collections, cash management, refunds, and overall management of student accounts receivables. Will have primary responsibility for processing, payment, deposit, and refunding activity for the Office of the Bursar and sets the example in providing exceptional customer service to the University community. Relationship building and representing the department in a positive manner are important to success.
After School Care Assistant Alabama
The After School Care Assistant works under the general direction of the Director. The lead ASC teacher oversees scheduling and lesson planning. The After School Care assistant independently manages the learning environment in their assigned classroom. The ASC teacher has the ultimate responsibility for the classroom environment. However, the incumbent works closely with the lead ASC teacher to maintain an appropriate learning environment.
Accounting Analyst III Alabama
The Accountant Analyst III, Financial Reporting plays a critical role in providing a high - level view and operational support accounting, reporting, and policy services to UAH stakeholders. This position assists in managing UAH's complex accounting structure consisting of numerous funds, day-to-day accounting activities, and closing of accounting records. This position is further responsible for preparation of financial reports and analysis, development and maintenance of financial systems, and development and implementation of financial policies.

The HVAC Technician III performs the duties necessary to properly maintain University Energy Management Control Systems, HVAC systems, refrigeration systems, boilers, pumps, cooling towers, and related controls. The individual ensures that office, classroom, and research environments are comfortable and appropriate for the assigned purpose of the facility.
Development Officer Alabama
The University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH) Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (ODEI) is seeking a Development Officer to translate work in the ODEI into successful appeals that advance the University’s strategic diversity goals and aspirations. Under the direction of the VP for ODEI and the VP for Advancement, the Development Officer for DEI implements strategies for identifying, cultivating, stewarding, and successfully soliciting individuals, corporations, and foundations for major and planned gifts of $25,000 and greater to support Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives at The University of Alabama in Huntsville. In this role, the Development Officer will work with ODEI and Advancement staff, as well as internal and external stakeholders (university administrators, donors, alumni, etc.) to create and implement fundraising strategies for ODEI including annual giving, major gifts fundraising (gifts of $25,000 ), grant writing, planned giving strategy, event management, and sponsorships with an emphasis and focus on furthering the development of major and planned gift donors to the University to support work in each area of our Inclusive Excellence framework. This position requires sensitive interaction with a variety of internal and external constituencies. The scope of the job requires travel as well as attendance at evening and/or weekend activities, events, meetings, and visits to prospects/donors in their homes and offices throughout the Huntsville community and occasionally beyond.

Director, Office of Proposal Development Alabama
The Director of the Office of Proposal Development reports to the Vice President for Research and Economic Development and is responsible for increasing the University’s competitiveness for capturing extramural funding opportunities that are aligned with the University’s research objectives. The Director manages the day-to-day functions of the Office for Proposal Development, which provides expert guidance and service to UAH faculty and research staff in helping identify competitive extramural grant and contract opportunities, build competitive teams to pursue extramural grant and contract opportunities, and assist with the design and development of competitive proposals that will be submitted directly to funding sponsors or a partner leading a proposal submission. The incumbent will help ensure that major proposals delivered to funding sponsors and proposal partners are of the highest quality, compelling written, and maximally responsive to the solicitation. The Director is responsible for the management of the budget, staff, processes, and effectiveness of the Office for Proposal Development in service to the University’s Colleges and Research Centers. The proposal-related activities will be primarily related to capturing substantive and highly impactful research opportunities for the university, but will also assist with smaller proposal opportunities as available.

Police Officer Alabama
The Police Officer, with moderate supervision, is responsible for the protection of life, property, and facilities of the University community through the proper administration and enforcement of regulations and laws in conformance with standard law enforcement practices in an institution of higher learning. These duties may involve an element of personal danger. Police Officers regularly conduct criminal investigations, perform searches and seizures, arrest offenders, present criminal cases to prosecutors for prosecution in district and municipal courts, respond to medical and other emergencies, write moving traffic violations, and assist other local law enforcement agencies.

Research Associate III (step 2) Alabama
The Research Associate III will provide land surface remote sensing, synthetic aperture radar, and GIS expertise focused on research and development activities supporting the identification of impacts from natural disasters, including earthquakes, landslides, land surface change, wildfires, severe weather, floods, and other hazards, in support of the NASA Disasters Program. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with synthetic aperture radar (SAR) and supplemental visible/near-infrared remote sensing experience. They are expected to support a team focused on disaster response, risk, and resilience activities that include novel and innovative research that culminates in peer-reviewed publications and near real-time application outcomes.
