Director, Accounting & Financial Reporting Alabama
Reporting to the Assistant Controller, the Director of Accounting and Financial Reporting will be responsible for directing the day-to-day operations of UAH and UAH Foundation accounting and financial reporting functions. This individual will ensure that acurate financial records are maintained and in complaicne with applicable GASB and FASB standards, prepare financial statements, assist with coordinating audits, and provide financial analysis and reporting to support decision-making by UAH leadership. The Director of Accounting and Financial Reporting will play a critical role in safeguarding UAH's financial integrity, promoting transparency, and supporting the institution's overall financial health and sustainability.
Research Associate IV, Step 1 Alabama
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Research Associate IV with expertise in data analysis, data visualization, and working with mesonet and other observational networks. The successful candidate will support Principal Investigators (PIs) by developing and managing data access systems for multiple mesonets, conducting advanced data analysis, and assisting with the installation and maintenance of field instruments. Senior Records Coordinator Alabama
The Office of the Registrar is seeking a Senior Records Coordinator (Degree Audits) to certify that candidates for undergraduate and graduate degrees satisfy all requirements. The incumbent officially certifies candidates for degrees, coordinates graduation and commencement activities for the Office of the Registrar, purchases diplomas and other graduation supplies, and assists students, faculty, and staff within the areas of records and registration. This position works within Banner, Degree Works, and Argos. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

The Counselor provides mental health counseling with an emphasis on cultural sensitivity. They will need to be energetic to work with individuals and groups to promote optimum mental and emotional health through outreach events and campus-planned events. The incumbent will provide services to a very diverse population to counsel, support, and consult in regard to psychological, social, and emotional well-being, along with enhancing the student’s personal growth, development, and adjustment to University life. The Counselor will be expected to help plan and conduct suicide prevention workshops, substance abuse workshops, and other identified group needs on campus. They will collaborate with staff from Student Health Services, the university, and community service agencies in developing, implementing, and evaluating educational and outreach activities, student needs, and campus concerns. They will need exceptional time management and are expected to participate in professional development activities and training. They will provide crisis intervention and assessments when necessary, including night and weekend on-call duties as required by all other licensed professional staff in the Counseling Center.

Transfer Admissions Counselor Alabama

The successful candidate will support PIs in projects related to drought assessment and watershed scale water resource availability. The candidate will be responsible for calibrating, validating as well as developing new capabilities within these hydrological models, and contributing to answering key scientific questions about the environment and water resources.
