Applicant Login Asst Dir, Compliance/Student Athlete Development Apply now Job no: 503753 Department: Athletics Work type: Staff Full-time Exempt Location: Alabama Categories: Athletics & Fitness, Supervisory/Managerial Purpose of the Position: The Assistant Director for Compliance/Student Athlete Development, under the supervision of the Associate AD for Compliance, is responsible for ensuring that the University's Athletic program adheres to all rules and regulations set forth by the institution and the NCAA. The position also investigates and reports possible violations of NCAA rules and assists in implementing all infractions. The incumbent will also be the point of contact for all programs associated with student athlete development, provide advising and counseling, and will work to develop a program for student athletes and coaches to grow and learn as they are at UAH.Duties/ResponsibilitiesAssist in reviewing, evaluating and advising initial academic eligibility and continuing academic eligibility requirements using NCAA, departmental, and Microsoft Office software Educate student-athletes and collaborate with campus advisors on recovery plans for at-risk student-athletes Assist in collecting and tracking annual required documents Assists with monitoring athletic scholarship limitations, National Letters of Intent, and athletic aid offers Monitors institutional and outside scholarshipsManages the squad list process.Assists with the monitoring of official and unofficial visits in ARMS Collaborate with the Office of Risk Management and assist in the approval process for institutional camps and clinics Monitors on-campus evaluations for applicable sports In collaboration, assist in event management (department, campus, awards banquet) Manages complimentary tickets process for student-athlete guests and prospective student-athletes Game management Track and monitor CARA in ARMS Assist in playing season monitoring and education Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and years of experience/1 year of full-time verifiable collegiate athletics work experience in a college athletic department as an administrator or coach/must have excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills/must have a working knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations Desired Qualifications: Master's degree is preferred/experience in Athletic Administration is desired Published Salary (if available): $40,000- $46,000 Advertised: Apr 24 2026 Central Daylight Time Applications close: Back to search results Apply now Refer a friend Whatsapp Facebook LinkedIn Email App Send me jobs like these We will email you new jobs that match this search.
