The Assistant Coach, Volleyball will assist the Head Volleyball Coach in team management and administration and reinforce the athletic department and university's goals.

Duties/Responsibilities
• Recruit and evaluate quality student athletes
• Train and teach student athletes both on and off the field
• Help to maintain NCAA, department, and university rules and regulations
• Assist in establishing game plans, scouting opponents
• Assist with coordinating the team budget, team travel, recruiting correspondence, fundraising efforts, film exchange
• Organize information for visiting teams, coordinate equipment orders, and maintain positive public relationships with the university and the community

• Bachelor's degree
• 1 or more years of volleyball coaching experience or college playing experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent communication skills
• Must be a US Citizen

• Master’s degree is preferred
• Division I or II college-level coaching experience is desired
• Knowledge of sports management
• Familiar with UAH athletics
