Purpose of the Position:

The Senior Admissions Counselor (Graduate Recruiter) will be responsible for attracting and enrolling a diverse pool of highly qualified students into College of Business graduate programs. This individual will manage the full recruitment cycle, from initial inquiry through enrollment, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for prospective students. The graduate recruiter will also work closely with the COB leadership and graduate advisor to coordinate recruiting activities and support strategic enrollment goals.

Duties/Responsibility
• Outreach & Recruitment: Manage and support the development and lead the implementation of recruitment strategies to attract prospective graduate students, including domestic and international markets.
• Responsible for understanding and accurately communicating to students the entrance requirements of the University, the academic requirements, and respond or refer student/parent questions to the appropriate University officials.
• Conduct recruitment, yield, and manage the admissions and enrollment cycle process.
• Conduct virtual recruitment activities (i.e. online, social media or video etc.)
• Develop and maintain territory recruitment inquiries and admitted students for each cycle. This includes follow-up of collecting missing credentials, updating or correcting student data.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings to stay informed of institutional changes that will impact student experience.
• Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with prospective students, alumni, educational institutions, and corporate partners.
• Maintain a presence in external groups.
• Event Coordination: Participate in recruitment events such as information sessions, open houses, and graduate fairs and support planning for such events.
• Application Support: Guide applicants through the admissions process, from initial inquiry to application submission and follow-up.
• Work closely with the Dean to assist in the review of students credentials including grade point average, and make recommendations regarding students admissions status.
• Enrollment Support: Perform academic advising, counseling, engage, and support admitted students with the goal of yielding every admitted student as an enrolled student.
• Data Tracking & Reporting: Manage the recruitment pipeline, track outreach efforts and results, and report to management regarding key metrics related to recruitment and admissions.
• Complete or generate reports as needed related to recruitment, travel, event management and special programs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 2 -5 years of experience in recruitment, admissions, or a related field
• Strong interpersonal communication, organizational, and customer service skills
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Ability to travel for recruitment events as needed, and work some evenings, and weekends.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree preferred;
• Proficiency with CRM systems and digital marketing tools;
• Experience within higher education or business programs.

Published Salary (if available):

$50,000-$55,000
