Purpose of the Position:

The Research Engineer VI, S4 will perform comprehensive research, and development and provide support for the sustainment of PEO Aviation's Digital Engineering Environment.

Duties/Responsibilities
• Perform comprehensive research and oversee, and provide IT support for PEO Aviation programs
• Attend meetings regarding IT and the Digital Engineering Environment
• Develop and provide IT support of the Digital Engineering Environment

Minimum Requirements:

• Master's degree - preferably in science, engineering, or business; (experience in a specialized area may be substituted for a degree); 9 - 10 years full-time work experience., or a combination of education and years of work experience.
• Proficiency with computers, programming, and familiarity with Microsoft Windows Servers are required
• Must be able to create and modify documentation for systems
• CompTIA Sec+ CE certified
• U.S. Citizenship is required

****Must have or be able to obtain a security clearance. The start date will be the first pay period after a security clearance is obtained.

Desired Qualifications:

• Significant understanding of Microsoft Windows Servers
• OS Certification
• RHCE and/or LPIC2

Published Salary (if available):

$125,010 - $130,000
