Purpose of the Position:

The ERP Training Lead is responsible for creating and executing the ERP Training Strategy to ensure all campus stakeholders are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to adopt the new system. This role oversees the planning, development, and delivery of all training activities — from live instruction to on-demand resources — and ensures that Oracle Guided Learning (OGL) is used strategically to maximize learning and retention. The Training Lead will collaborate closely with subject matter experts (SMEs), business process owners, and the Change Management team to ensure a consistent, engaging, and user-focused training experience.

Key Responsibilities Include

ERP Training Strategy & Planning

• Develop and manage the comprehensive ERP training strategy aligned to project milestones, adoption goals, and change management activities.

• Conduct training needs analysis to determine content scope, delivery methods, and timing.

• Establish and report on training success metrics (e.g., pre/post evaluations, adoption rates) and monitor progress to drive continuous improvement.

• Define the strategic role of OGL within the training plan, including when and how it is introduced to users.

• Prioritize OGL content areas in collaboration with the OGL / Documentation Lead to ensure alignment with ERP workflows and business processes.

Content Oversight & Quality Assurance

• Review all OGL and documentation content for accuracy, clarity, tone, and alignment with training goals

• Ensure all training materials comply with accessibility standards (ADA/WCAG).

• Incorporate system updates and process improvements into ongoing training cycles, including changes from Oracle quarterly releases and campus-driven enhancements.

Training Delivery & Coordination

• Coordinate and deliver instructor-led training (both in-person and virtual) for all campus audiences.

• Develop and oversee non-OGL training tools and materials, including presentations, road shows, and live sessions.

• Oversee the creation and management of asynchronous learning resources (recorded webinars, self-paced courses, etc.).

• Manage training logistics, including scheduling, facilities, technology, and enrollment.

• Provide “train-the-trainer” sessions for SMEs, central office staff, and campus champions.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

• Partner with SMEs, business process owners, and project functional leads to ensure content accuracy.

• Work within the Change Management team to integrate communications, stakeholder engagement, and readiness activities with training efforts.

• Serve as the primary liaison to the ERP implementation partner on training matters.

• Collaborate with consultants and internal stakeholders to ensure a consistent learning experience.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, Organizational Development, Information Systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3 years of experience developing and delivering training in an enterprise systems or ERP environment.
• Experience using learning management systems (LMS) and/or e-learning authoring tools.
• Strong instructional design and facilitation skills.
• Ability to simplify complex processes into clear, user-friendly learning materials.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards for training materials.
• Ability to collaborate across functional areas and work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, collaboration tools (e.g., Teams, SharePoint), and e-learning platforms.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in a related field.
• Higher education ERP implementation experience, preferably with Oracle Cloud.
• Experience managing a training program through a full ERP system implementation lifecycle.

Published Salary (if available):

$80,000 - 90,000
