Purpose of the Position:

The Principal Research Engineer will serve as the Government Program Director for an Army special access program (SAP) for multiple and complex SAP compartmented projects.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Oversee, manage and serve as the Government Program Director for an Army special access program (SAP) for multiple and complex SAP compartmented projects
• Responsible for all aspects of operations, including directing, managing, and coordinating teams of engineers, security managers, information technology specialists, and support personnel
• Leads teams engaged in developing advanced prototype systems, system demonstrations, and programs of record supporting air defense, land combat, and science and technology initiatives
• Oversee, manage and coordinate SAP technology integration activities for intra- and inter-services

Minimum Requirements:

• Ph.D. with 11 - 11.5 years of full-time work experience, or an professional equivalent combination of education, training and years of experience

• In depth knowledge of PEO MS
• 20+ years serving as Program Director for Army science and technology programs
• US citizenship is required

Desired Qualifications:

• Ph.D. with 11 - 11.5 years of full-time work experience
• 25+ years of experience serving as Program Director for Army science and technology programs

Published Salary (if available):

$221,975 - $225,000
