Purpose of the Position:

The General Engineer for Aviation Systems will perform research and provide support for UAS general development and integration of aviation components. The incumbent will also provide support to COLSA UAS and VIPRS Programs.

Duties/Responsibilities
• Perform research and serve as engineer for UAS general development and integration of aviation components. Provide support to COLSA UAS and VIPRS Programs
• Develop and Maintain integration software and hardware
• Manage and maintain the configuration of integration software and hardware
• Provide support and coordination of program and technical interchange meetings
• Perform hands on testing , and provide support to UAS operations and software functions
• Conduct demonstration for customers

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree with 12 - 24 months directly related full-time work experience
• Ability to develop and integrate software and systems in the accomplishment of Aviation and Aerospace requirements
• Computer Programming Languages for Aviation and Aerospace programs.
• Knowledge of Chemical Engineering
• U.S. citizenship required (no dual citizenship)

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience related to Chemical Engineering preferred.

Published Salary (if available):

$59,001 - $66,500
