Emphasis is on the design of experiment and operation of research grade gun systems to collect, process, and present experimental data as specified in contract agreements.Duties/Responsibilities• Perform scientific and engineering research of technologiesrelevant to weapon systems, and manage contracted RDT&E efforts with relevant engineering hardware, software, and manufacturing tools to complete job project duties and job tasks.• Design, and provide support of experiment and operation of research grade gun systems to collect, process, and present experimental data as specified in contract agreements.• Manage and support the assembly, operation and maintenance of specializedlauncher systems.• Provide technical support to resolve issues concerning RDT&E programs.• Create, develop, prepare and generate technical and progress reports and summaries as required by contracted efforts.• Work closely with and develop a positive, collaborative working relationshipwith academic, industry and government participants.• Serve as lead on various projects as needed• Perform other duties as assigned Minimum Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree preferably in science or Engineering• 51-57 months (4.25 -4.75) years of full-time experience• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite• Must be a US Citizen and meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Final SecretClearance.
