Purpose of the Position:

The Computer Engineer VI will conduct day-to-day system administration of the hardware and software for a digital engineering modeling environment for RSESC as well as PM FLRAA.

Duties / Responsibilities
• Conduct day-to-day system administration of the vitalized hardware and software for a digital engineering modeling environment, including installing, configuring, and maintaining various software components.
• Detect, analyze, and resolve problems associated with a variety of software components
• Maintain customer's server operating systems
• Maintain computer security posture per standards required by the organization
• Document application system changes
• Attend meetings related to the project

Minimum Requirements:

• Master's degree with 8 - 9.5 years of full-time verifiable work experience or an equivalent combination of education and years of experience
• Familiarity with Microsoft Windows Servers is required
• Must be able to create and modify documentation for systems
• CompTIA Sec+ CE certified

Desired Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Engineering
• Significant understanding of Microsoft Windows Servers
• CompTIA Sec+ CE certified
• OS Certification
• RHCE and/or LPIC2

Published Salary (if available):

$103,292 - $125,000
