Purpose of the Position:

The Research Engineer I will conduct research in plasma science and support FTPP projects.

Duties/Responsibilities
• Conduct research in plasmas and work with collaborators
• Mentor graduate and undergraduate students in research
• Prepare papers and presentations for conferences and journals
Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree
• 0 - 12 months directly related full-time work experience in engineering or physics
• Excellent communication skills
• Moderate to advanced technical knowledge
Desired Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Engineering or Physics
• 4 years experience with experimental plasma research
• Specific experience with optical diagnostics
• Laser produced plasmas, and magnetized plasmas
Published Salary (if available):

$51,304 - $55,000
