Purpose of the Position:

The Residence Life Coordinator is responsible for directing the daily operation of a Housing area (One to Two residence halls and/or campus apartments 500 to 900 beds). The essential functions of this position include the supervision of student staff, programming, crisis intervention, and student conduct. The Residence Life Coordinator also oversees the departmental efforts in various areas including, but not limited to campus-wide desk operations, summer camp, conference, and orientation operations, and co-advising department supported student organizations. This position has a live on requirement and provides support and assistance to students through serving in a campus wide duty rotation during the academic year, summer, and holidays.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree and or an equivalent combination of education and years of experience.
• 1-2 years experience in Housing & Residence Life
• Experience with Microsoft Office & Google Suite, accounting skills, excellent communications and interpersonal skills

Desired Qualifications:

• Masters Degree is preferred
• 3-4 years experience in Housing & Residence Life
• Working knowledge of Banner & Adirondack platform software
