Electrician I Alabama
The Electrician I is a key member of the UAH Facilities & Operations department, which is responsible for the planning, design, construction, renovation, maintenance, and repair of the University. This employee will perform skilled work in installing, repairing, and maintaining all electrical equipment, appliances, and circuitry. The employee sets his/her shift hours within a second shift timeframe (Monday- Friday, 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM). Once the employee sets their shift hours, the schedule is considered final and cannot be altered without prior approval. The second shift is considered a shift differential pay category. If the employee returns to the first shift at any time, the shift differential will be removed.
Custodial Supervisor Alabama
The Custodial Supervisor is a key member of the UAH Facilities & Operations department, which is responsible for the planning, design, construction, renovation, maintenance, and repair of each of the University’s 90+ buildings and 500 acres. Under the direction of the Assistant Director and Director of Building Services, the Custodial Supervisor directs, supervises, provides training, and inspects the work of custodial employees daily, ensuring that all University buildings are properly cleaned and maintained at the highest possible standards by the most efficient utilization of personnel, equipment, materials, and supplies. The employee's duties will be performed within second shift hours (2:00 pm-10:45 pm). This position is eligible for a second shift differential rate.

The HVAC & Water Treatment Technician keeps our campus buildings running safely and smoothly. In this role, you will mix mechanical maintenance with industrial water chemistry. You will run tests on campus water systems and take care of installing, tuning up, and repairing campus heating, cooling, and ventilation equipment. Shift & Schedule: This position is on the second shift (Monday-Friday, 12:00 PM-10:00 PM). You will be able to set your exact shift hours within that timeframe. Once your hours are set, the schedule is final and cannot be changed without approval. This second shift includes extra shift differential pay, which will be removed if you ever return to first shift.

Construction Project Manager II Alabama
The Construction Project Manager II is a key member of the UAH Facilities & Operations (F&O) department. F&O is responsible for the planning, design, construction, renovation, maintenance, and repair of each of the University’s 90+ buildings and 500 acres. Under the general supervision of the Director of Planning, Design & Construction (Director), the employee manages various capital planning, construction, and renovation projects of a moderate to complex nature to ensure alignment with University and departmental goals. This role focuses on facilitating projects from concept through implementation in collaboration with the Chief Facilities Officer (CFO), the Director, and project stakeholders. Key responsibilities include: • Project Management: Manage projects from original concept through final implementation, coordinating scope, schedules, and budgets for moderate to complex construction and renovation work. • Compliance: Ensure projects meet all contract requirements, UAH standards, and applicable building and safety codes. • Coordination: Manage and coordinate the performance of design professionals, consultants, and vendors. • Reporting: Track project progress, budget status, and schedules, providing reports and updates to leadership and stakeholders. Note: Employment continuation is contingent upon the availability of future construction program management fee revenue funding.
