Supervisor, Electrical Systems Alabama
This employee is a key member of UAH Facilities & Operations department, which is responsible for the planning, design, construction, renovation, maintenance, and repair for each of the University’s 90+ buildings and 500 acres. Under the general direction of the Assistant Director of Facilities Maintenance, the employee provides oversight for the preventive maintenance, repair, and minor renovations of all electrical, lighting automation, and life safety systems in Education & General (E&G) properties. He/she coordinates the activities of a multi-craft technical workforce, organizes workflow, arranges logistical support for facility repair projects, and inspects work for quality. He/she shall have some budgetary responsibility and record-keeping duties.
Research Engineer I, S2 Alabama
The Research Engineer I, Step 2 will assist in the development of several projects within the iCUBED laboratory in the Research Institute. They will lead groups of undergraduate students in the design and development of key subsystems for the experiments and spacecraft being developed in the laboratory.

The incumbent provides a variety of administrative support assignments that do not follow a prescribed routine; however, the general assignments performed ensure that activities are performed proficiently and in accordance with University standards, Board of Trustees policy, and Alabama Building Commission code. He/she anticipates needs and required action and carries out all prescribed duties

Research Program Manager I Alabama
The SERVIR Science Coordination Office (SCO) at NASA Marshall Space Flight Center is seeking an experienced program manager/continental coordinator to support hubs and ongoing projects in Amazonia and Central America. The position will complement a large and dynamic applied sciences group and, as a core member of the SCO team, this position will oversee SERVIR Science-for-Development activities over the Americas. The incumbent will have deep experience in the region, a desire to provide thought leadership and strategic planning to achieve NASA and USAID goals, a strong background in theoretical and practical aspects of international development, as well as practical experience in coordinating or managing large, multi-institutional teams. The position will work alongside colleagues at SCO as well as NASA, USAID, and other partner organizations and will entail domestic and international travel. SERVIR is a joint development initiative of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), and works in partnership with leading regional organizations worldwide to help developing countries use the information provided by Earth-observing satellites and geospatial technologies for managing climate risks and land use. SERVIR’s goal is to empower decision-makers with tools, products, and services to act locally on climate-sensitive issues such as disasters, agriculture, water, ecosystems, and land use.

As a Custodian, the employee’s primary purpose is maintaining the cleanliness of the University's buildings. The employee’s duties will be performed part-time during the second shift (Monday-Friday, 6:45PM-10:45 PM).
Computer Scientist I Alabama
The Computer Scientist I will be involved in software design, development, and analysis in computational endeavors across ITSC.
Principal Res Scientist III Alabama
The Principal Research Scientist III will be involved in design and development, as well as leading team activities of research and development, across ITSC in Technology Strategy and Software Engineering.

Principal Research Engineer VI, S4 Alabama
The purpose of the Principal Research Engineer VI will be to serve as the Associate Director of the IDEAS Laboratory within the Research Institute. The incumbent will assist the RI Deputy Director in identifying potential funding sources and developing proposals as necessary. The incumbent will also manage several STEM education projects and spaceflight hardware development projects within the lab.
Research Scientist II, S2 Alabama
