Coordinator for Fraternity & Sorority Life Alabama
The Coordinator for Fraternity and Sorority Life is responsible for visioning, developing, implementing, coordinating, and evaluating all areas within Interfraternity Council (IFC), National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC), and College Panhellenic Council (CPC). This position must maintain regular office hours on campus that may or may not match standard business hours. Flexible scheduling is necessary for this position to provide supervision of activities and events taking place in the evenings and on weekends.
Construction Project Manager II Alabama
The Construction Project Manager II is a key member of UAH Facilities & Operations (F&O) department. F&O is responsible for the planning, design, construction, renovation, maintenance, and repair for each of the University’s 90+ buildings and 500 acres. Under the general supervision of the Director of Planning, Design & Construction (Director), the employee manages various capital planning, construction, and renovation projects of a moderate to complex nature to ensure alignment with University and departmental goals. This role focuses on facilitating projects from concept through implementation in collaboration with the Chief Facilities Officer (CFO), the Director, and project stakeholders. Key responsibilities include: • Project Management: Manage projects from original concept through final implementation, coordinating scope, schedules, and budgets for moderate to complex construction and renovation work. • Compliance: Ensure projects meet all contract requirements, UAH standards, and applicable building and safety codes. • Coordination: Manage and coordinate the performance of design professionals, consultants, and vendors. • Reporting: Track project progress, budget status, and schedules, providing reports and updates to leadership and stakeholders. Note: Employment continuation is contingent upon the availability of future construction program management fee revenue funding.
Residence Director Alabama
The Residence Director (RD) is responsible for the programming and administrative management of a co-educational residential community ranging in size from 229 to 416 residents. This position has on-call responsibilities and answers to emergency situations.
Public Safety Telecommunicator Alabama
The Public Safety Telecommunicator is employed in UAH Police Department as a First Responder assigned to the Emergency Communications and Operations Center as a 911 Call Taker and Public Safety Dispatcher. Under the direction of the Manager of Public Safety and direct supervision of the Associate Manager of Public Safety for Communications, this position independently performs specialized and essential specialized work in receiving and dispatching accurate information to appropriate emergency responders in the field during, at times, highly stressful and intense situations. Work involves responsibility for the operation of specialized radio utilizing multiple channels and frequencies in a 911 center. The incumbent requires fast, efficient, and accurate receiving, dispatching, and processing of calls and messages from and to appropriate vehicles and personnel. Employees work with considerable independence, subject to instructions or orders to meet special operating circumstances or emergencies. The incumbent will effectively and efficiently communicate between campus law enforcement headquarters, campus police officers in the field, parking officers, student assistants, other university departments and personnel, and outside agencies. These interactions require tact, discretion, and confidentiality. Work is performed in a communications center without windows. Incumbent often works fast-paced in a harried work atmosphere, sometimes confronted by disturbing or stressful call situations. Work is essentially sedentary with occasional walking, bending, lifting of objects up to pounds, or minimal physical activities. Work requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time, operate multiple personal computers and transmitters/receivers, and perceive and/or discriminate colors and sounds from multiple directions, depth, and texture. Work requires continuous repetitive arm/hand movement.

Research Associate II, S2 Alabama
The Earth Science Systems Center is in the search for a Research Associate II, Step 2 (on-call status) to assist in the designing and fabrication of a new electric field sensor that UAH researchers are prototyping for several possible customers. The incumbent will work with the chief engineer to realize the mechanical design and also help with component identification for this new sensor.

Accessibility Compliance Specialist Alabama
